Reviews
"A lovely park, a haven of green with historical significance. Its well-maintained paths and informative boards made for a pleasant walk today."
"Spooky at night in a skin-walkery kind of way. Perfect for a freaky gothic late night date. Great view of the city. Really highlights our fruitless efforts to remain relevant despite our looming mortality. 10/10 family friendly. Would come again."
"Park at a gravel lot near an apartment complex, then enter the jungle. The first stretch is downhill and then it goes up again. At the end you get a nice view of Knoxville that makes the people and their earthly aspirations appear small. You aren't supposed to go around the fence to get a better view and I of course didn't do so!"
"Short and sweet hike down a gravel road to amazing views. Enjoyed looking out over the river and watching the train pass by."
"Great views of the city with a short (.5mile) but steep hike in a gravel path. Lots of litter in the area which is sad but the old growth trees and views of the river, Knoxville, ut and the Cumberlands are fantastic, especially at sunset. We saw a handful of people there in the hour or so we spent there. I would consider this the best Urban hike around though many may not call it Urban. You can see UT medical from the lookout too but be careful around the cliff edge."
