"Remaining at one star. Almost every problem I've had has been with a cashier named Connie. Even this morning, 3/11, very rude and literally started to ignore me while I was talking to her so she could work on the next customer. Can't wait to talk, Chad (GM). I work in retail and won't blow anybody up or anything like that but my experience was a little ridiculous. I was double charged and made to feel like it was my fault that they don't provide the clear covers for their chicken tenders anymore. They apparently have them but you've got to corner an employee and ask for them instead of them being available for anyone who would actually need them. Note, I had this conversation with an employee and was never offered a plastic topper. The lack of awareness to coach someone to ask an employee for something while that person asking an employee for that thing is amazing. Paper bags from here on out. I wish someone would move into town and actually run a strong, customer focused business. I offered to talk to manager if that would help and was told to go ahead. I the.had to play 20 questions to find out who the manager was, when they worked, what their normal hours were, and to find out that they weren't here today, during normal hours, due to a doctor's appointment. My impression is that Connie, in particular, does not care for customers and is a problem on that front. I'm sure she's great at other tasks and hopefully she can find something less customer facing."
"For the most part the food is good and employees are friendly enough. In the last 3 months atleast once a week there out of regular coffee. I would reccomend getting a snack before going to order at deli. The workers will make eye contact with you then spend the next 6 minutes explaining what they did the last night to a coworker. This isn't a one time occurrence, it's an every weekend thing. 12-20-23 8 months later and nothing has changed. According to the manager "you need to holler at the worker that's made eye contact with you twice" patiently waiting on them to do their job isn't the way to get waited on!"
"Selling 3 month old expired Grizzly products is unacceptable.. its not just one can its about every can I buy there.. I always tell myself the next one will be fresher it never is.. always dried out or not as fresh as it should or could be.. the public shouldn't have to pay because yall wanna buy truck loads of the stuff for a penny a can and then selling it to your loyal consumers for about 5 dollars a pop after it is already 3 months expired no good..buying September 23 expired Grizzly dip on December 9th 23 is insanity and bad business!!"
"I stopped by the Weigels on Tazewell Pike to get a cup of white chocolate Carmel cappuccino and it was out of product. Just dispensing water so I informed the employee that was walking by me that it wasn't working properly and her response was OK I will check it in a little bit. She finished what she was doing and proceeded to walk by me and the cappuccino station to talk to another employee . So I tried to get a cup of hot chocolate and guess what it was out also. So I went across the street to the EZ Stop and gave them my money. I guess Mr. Weigel has enough money!"
"Many rude employees who make sure to have loud inappropriate conversations around customers. I was in there recently and I paid for a drink in cash. I was criticized for not giving the exact amount of change. The employee told me that you have to give “exact change in the real world” which I didn’t even know what she meant by that."
