Good Time Moving and Storage Knoxville

"DONT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! I originally booked them for a move from a rental to our new home. They were scheduled to arrive between 2-5 and said it would take about 4 hours. The day of the move I did not hear from them nor could I get ahold of anyone in the main office. At 4:30 I got a call saying they were running behind and it would be closer to 5:30. I tried to reschedule as I felt that was to late to start a move but they said they were completely booked up. I decided to just go with it and deal with the fact we would be moving later in the day. 5:30 came around and I didn't hear anything, I tried calling the number that had called me but got sent right to voicemail. Tried to call the main office but no one was there. 6:00 came still with no word, I assumed they had just ghosted me so I called around and made arrangements with a different company. 6:40 I finally get a call from the movers saying they were 30 minutes away, I told them not to bother, they said okay and I called the main line and was finally put through to dispatch who I told I was canceling the move and he reassured me my deposit would be refunded. The next day I got a call from the owner Daniel who seemed unphased by the events of the previous day and how things unfolded but her also confirmed I would be getting a refund within the next 2 business days. It is now almost 3 weeks later and I have no refund and they refuse to take my calls."

"Everything their agent told me was a lie. They got to my home on the day I had to be moved and what started as a 3000 move ended up costing me over 6000. I think it’s a scam. The men who actually did the work were great, and the reason for 2 star except for the big ruts left in my lawn from their truck. Of course when I complained about the agent who got this all wrong the owner went deaf. He didn’t offer anything back for his screw up. It was a waste of time doing the FaceTime walk through. The agent didn’t even include any boxes in the inventory list. I wish I had gone with someone else. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. And like everyone else with low ratings on this list Daniel the owner didn’t mind running the extra big bill through on my credit card. Wait till my attorney sends him the bill for the landscapers repairs of the ruts and tracks the trucks left all through my front yard."

"This company is GREAT from start to finish. They have affordable pricing and quality movers! When I saw some of the bad reviews, I was a bit worried. I still took the chance because this was the company that had availability for my move. I am so happy I took the chance and got to experience a Good Time lol. With moving, ANYTHING can happen, Good Time took the right steps and took care of me all steps of the way."

"We’re done with this so-called moving company. They use contractors so these people don’t directly work for the company. Also, I’m telling you now don’t do business with these people. They expect you to just give them your credit card information over the phone instead of using an online payment system. You don’t know who the hell these people are and trust is NOT given it’s earned! There’s no reason why any business today shouldn’t be using a payment system for customers security.. Be on the safe side and find another company that cares about running a stellar business that provides secure payment options for its customers and quality service. Mitchell Movers is a way better option."

"I have only great things to say about Good Time Moving. They showed up on time and workded hard the whole time. The guys had a great attitude and were very careful and put my furniture together. Connie in Custome Service was amazing. I wanted to move my date up to have furniture delivered 3 days early and she made it happen with no issues. No suprise charges and were cheaper than any of the other company I contacted. If you need affordable and professional movers I highly recommened Good Time Moving. They will not dissapoint."
