"I would recommend reading some of the reviews before doing business with this business. The Ag Pro online ordering is a disaster and I will never use it again. The employees in the store were nice but had no idea how to process my online order that I had already paid for. They had to process my credit card again and the lady that was not there was supposed to call me when she returned and I have been waiting for hours. I thought it would be nice to deal with a store that specializes in John Deere ,I guess I was wrong. I reviewed my credit card charges, they credited my online charge back to my card and charged me $10 more than the online charge. I will never use this place again. I would definitely caution anyone using them to check what they charge you. This is unbelievable."
"A belt broke on my mower & I attempted to fix it myself. I took off one of the pulleys and the clutch. When I put everything back together I realized I had tightened a bolt/nut too tight because when I pulled the cord to start, it wouldn’t pull. Out of frustration that I couldn’t figure it out, I took it to AgPro on Kingston Pike in Farragut. I told them exactly what I had taken off and communicated that it should be an easy fix for someone that was a professional. 9 days later they called and said that the engine was “locked up” & said I needed a new engine. I asked to speak to the technician & explained again exactly what I had taken off & said that just because I had overtightened a couple of bolts/nuts didn’t mean that the engine had “locked up”. He said there was nothing he could do & quoted me $3200 plus tax for a new engine. At this point, I knew they were trying to take advantage of me. I picked up my mower & was charged $200 for “diagnostics”. After returning home, I decided to try to loosen a few of the nuts that I felt may have been overtightened on the clutch. Within 30 minutes of returning home with my mower, my mower was running perfectly. I called AgPro & asked to speak to a manager. A guy named Barrett got on the phone. I explained everything & asked for my $200 back because the “diagnostics” they provided were way off. He refused to refund my $200. They were clearly taking advantage of me and based on other reviews I’ve read, I’m not the only one."
"Do not come for tire or mower blade service. I've dropped off tires or blades on two seperate occasions with them saying it will take a day. On both occasions I've waited 4 to 5 days. This leaves me in a bind to have someone else do them and get them back to me all while my grass keeps growing. I understand it's a small job that may not make you a ton of money, but stop taking people's items, tell them it will be done within a day and not even have touched them 5 days later."
"This is gonna take a minute. Worst experience I’ve had in a long time. I don’t think I’ve ever written a bad review before, I usually just let it go. So I brought my Ferris zero return commercial mower that I used to mow my personal property with only for service (oil, filters, hydraulic fluid, filters, sharpen blades and level deck) they quoted close to $400 for that service, I told them I noticed the deck belt appeared to be worn so go ahead and replace that as well. They told me it might be a week as they were busy. They called me after a couple weeks and said the tech said I needed my deck bearings replaced, which I found suspect because when I bought the mower as I was loading it, the gentleman mentioned that he had recently had the deck bearings replaced.. but go ahead so four weeks into it they tell me that they can’t get a part off and they need to replace it and it’s gonna be 220 some dollars and take 10 days to get.. I called the Ferris dealer and they said they could have it in a week and the cost was $114 when I ask Ag pro why so much difference they said that was what they were quoted for the part which is also suspect to me.. after they had had my mower for five weeks and my grass was 3 feet tall on the entire 5 acres they said my mower was ready for just a smidgen under $1000.. when I got there, they said they did not replace the part that they told me they could not get off before because whoever they were getting it from for twice the price said it would be August before they would have the part. So as I’m loading my mower, I noticed that the blades are still very dull so I walk back in to ask them if they had even done any of the service work.. it turns out other than replacing the bearings and the belts for almost $1000. They completely neglected to do any of the service that I originally brought it in for in the first place, fluids filters, blades, etc.. in the five weeks that they had my mower. So I’ve just mowed with it for the second time since I’ve had it back and the brand new belt that they installed burned up and self-destructed.. which tells me something was installed improperly or not installed at all. I plan to take it to an authorized Ferris dealer along with their invoice for what they say they did and find out what’s actually going on. Now that my mower will be down once again while I need to mow, this is absolutely ridiculous . I was originally going to take it back to Ag Pro and let them fix whatever they messed up but honestly at this point, I took them a perfectly good mower and now I have no confidence in anything that they touched.. Who knows what was left loose over torqued , under torqued, not reinstalled or God knows what else I am beyond angry at this point. I was livid at the ridiculous cost, and how long they had the mower to start with.. I should have just done the work myself. So now I have to start over somewhere else and pay them to go through my mower from one end to the other, so I can be confident again that somebody hasn’t ruined my lawnmower that I paid a hell of a lot of money for.."
"Traded in my Scag Patriot for a Vride 2. Anderson was awesome with everything. Such an easy process start to finish. Highly recommend them and thankful mayo no longer has the Scag contract!"
