"I rarely write reviews but after our experience recently I felt inclined to provide feedback. Our stay at this Blue Ridge gem was nothing short of extraordinary and exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away by the sheer beauty and comfort of this stunning lodge. First off, the amenities are truly top-notch. Where else can you find a half basketball court, an 8-person hot tub, a 4-person sauna, and not one but THREE cozy fireplaces all in one place? The outdoor living area with its TV and fireplace, the wood-burning fire pit, and the propane BBQ grill made every moment spent outdoors feel like a luxurious retreat. The outdoor living space really reminded me of some of my best memories as a kid spending time with family. Inside, the cabin is a perfect blend of cabin charm and modern convenience. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and the comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep after a day of adventure. The game room was an absolute hit with our group – we spent hours playing arcade games and shooting pool while enjoying drinks from the wet bar. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the location. Tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by trees and wildlife, it truly felt like we were a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Yet, with Blue Ridge just a short drive away, we had easy access to shopping, dining, and all the attractions the area has to offer. What an adorable town! But perhaps the best part of our stay was the hospitality of our hosts. From the moment we booked our stay, they were attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set them apart. There is a reason why Eric is a super host! If you're looking for the ultimate mountain retreat in Blue Ridge, I cant recommend this incredible cabin enough. With its unbeatable amenities, stunning location, and welcoming hosts, it's the perfect destination for families, couples, or groups of friends looking to create unforgettable memories. "Such a great Blue Ridge Rental! My son, mother, and I came up for just two nights in March. We usually go to Helen, but decided to try something new this time. So glad we did! You get a lot of house for a very reasonable price. A full bathroom with every bedroom.... my son loved the basement bunkbeds with arcade games, and a big TV with couch to chill out on and watch his favorite YouTube TV channels! All TVs had streaming available, the kitchen was great with new and clean appliances. We used the grill on the deck one night, it was great, and there were even extra propane tanks, if needed. We tried out the sauna just briefly - it was really great. we used the hot tub each night and yes, it is pristine clean and seems very new. We also use the basketball court each day. Everything in the house is aesthetically pleasing, nice hardwood floors to all of the furniture. There is no long list of checkout instructions, which sometimes is the case with cabin rentals. Quick eight minute drive into town .. or less. We were so impressed with this place that I had to send the owner a text message just a few hours after being there! We will come back for sure, and we will stay longer next time! Thanks so much Hillcrest Lodge!"
