"Used The Sandbox for sand board rentals. This process was incredibly easy and quite cheap as well. I ended up spending 30 dollars for the whole day, and it was well worth it! As far as their souvenirs goes I personally wouldn't buy some of their items, as they seem overpriced. However, as far as board rentals are concerned, this may very well be the best, most convenient place to go."

"We have been coming to Silver Lake for 4 years. We have frequented the Sand Box to buy souvenirs and other items. We rented a sand board this year. I didn’t realize the board was supposed to be back at 7 as the cashier didn’t mention it. I called back as soon as I saw the missed call. The women on the phone was rude and talked down to me. I had the board back within 5 minutes of the call and 20 minutes before close. The owner belittled me and lectured me even after I apologized. I asked how I could make it right and he continued to aggressively rant while I paid my bill. I would have been glad to pay a late fee for my mistake but the owners behavior was not acceptable. Needless to say I won’t be back to the Sandbox."

"Service and variety good. Owners husband watched you like a hawk regarding oarking. We spent $50 and as we used rest room the man followed us 2 blocks and complained thwt we were in his lot. We just spent $59 at his business!! Will never shop there again. Beware the creepy guy watching you in their lot"
