Go Fish

"This was a neat place with a good mix of furnature, collectables, and wall hangings. It was conveniently located and we stopped in after going to Sawyer lawn and garden center. There's a back entrance from there parking lot marked by a flag through a grassy area with antique projects outside. I thought everything was overpriced. Maybe others will disagree. I've renovated a few properties and a lot of the things in the store looked like they were just taken from the scrap pile from a local farm and rebranded as art. Maybe it's just sour grapes on my part as I've thrown away truckloads of things I saw marked for $50-100 there. Several of the larger pieces seemed like they had been "upcycled" maybe legs from one item and a tabletop from another. I'm not the illinoise-chicago weekender that I think was the target market for this place, so I'm sure others would enjoy the place. Go to Sawyer lawn and garden center or green Bush brewery and walk over to go fish to round out the day."

"This is a fun store with some really unique and wonderful vintage items. Everything is nicely displayed. I stopped in at the end of the day when they were really busy with a fundraising event that was about to start, but still everyone was so helpful and nice in helping me get my things out to the Jeep. Couldn't ask for more! I live 2 hours away and it is well worth the drive."
