"We had a huge project in December of 2017. We purchased a very large Amish home, that needed electric throughout. Cody was professional and his helper was very efficient and courteous. We THOUGHT he was doing a great job, although we were never there. We were still living 1.5 hours away, and were unable to babysit. (In hindsight, we will always be at the construction site to babysit from now on!) He was always asking for another $5k or $10k. The final straw was when he wanted another $10k just to install recepts and fixtures. I hired my ex-husband (licensed electrician) to do it for a few hundred dollars. While there, he noted that instead of using the breakers we had purchased, Cody had used his own, (which didn't fit) and cut them to make them fit. Which is NOT CODE and completely irresponsible. He also did not use the proper breakers for bedrooms. He wired for lights/switches in closets, which we specifically said not to do, and wired the upstairs, which was going to be a phase II project. (An additional 1500 square feet we did not have funds for.) We were on a tight budget, and had explained that several times. But again, we were never there to babysit. Fast forward 5 years. We sold the property and have a good relationship with the new owners. She (new owner) contacted me recently to tell me they had hired an engineer due to many issues with the house. Unfortunately, Cody had used a three inch holesaw in almost every support beam of the first and second floor, to run wires. The engineer has now deemed it not structurally safe!! There's a list of other electrical oopsies he is responsible for as well. We gave that man $25,000+ to run electric. That's all he did. The pedestal and box were done by another electrician. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVER!!"
