"An unexpected delight. I ordered not long before closing, when the oil was most likely to turn rancid. The mixed reviews here were cause for concern. So was its inconspicuous appearance: there is no visible sign. Literally a hole in the wall* as you will discover if you a manage to find it. I asked in the cavernous grocery store if anyone knew where it was. None had heard of it. One employee suggested that I look in their seafood section. It turned out to be 50 feet away, in the same strip mall. Having so often had bad experiences with take-out fried food eaten at home - nothing more dispiriting than cold grease for dinner - I tore open the catfish dinner right in the parking lot for a preview. It was heavenly: piping hot, tender, lightly breaded, just delicious. The fries and hush puppies were good too. And everything tasted good back at the motel, too. *Actually there are two holes: one for orders, the other for pickup. One foot apart."

"WOW! I typically stray away from fried fish, but I've read nothing but glowing reviews about this place so we decided to try it today! For $17, the amount of food you get is ridiculous, I couldn't believe how much was in the box + drink. Everything was seasoned well, food was hot + catfish was phenomenal. Lava sauce is 10/10, I love spicy food and typically am disappointed with how spicy it is. This had my mouth burning for once in my life. Will be returning! Awesome stuff."

"This hidden gem of a restaraunt is not one to miss! The prices are very fair for the portions, and the quality of the chicken was too notch (and so were the fries!). If you are ordering a chicken dish, I recommend getting it tossed in sauce or getting sauce on the side. I tried the fried catfish which seemed a bit overcooked but still good. The service here seemed genuinly nice, very hepful. The owners must be smart, they're doing everything right and stands out, really impressed."
