Midnight Blue Towing

"We live in Michigan City, but we were in Crown Point for the day for a summer camp my son had. On the way home, I had a major issue with my axle and drive-shaft, which left my son and I stuck in the middle of a busy intersection in a city that we aren't very familiar with. I Googled towing companies in the area and called the first one that showed up. They weren't near my location, so they recommended this company since they would be able to get to us quickly since we were stranded in the middle of a busy street. I called, and they had a truck out within minutes. Very friendly and professional. Treated me like a real person and not just another customer. He was able to get my car on the tow truck, which would have been a difficult task for most, and had room in the cab for my son and I. They offered us bottled waters and even asked if it was okay to give my son an individually wrapped pack of doughnuts, which was super nice of them and made my son happy, and yes, they asked me first to make sure it was okay for him to have them. This company went above and beyond, which made an otherwise very stressful situation a lot easier to handle. Before I forget to mention it, I'm not going to list an exact price because due to gas and insurance prices, their towing prices could always fluctuate a bit, but their prices are the best I've seen anywhere recently. More than fair. I highly recommend this company if you ever find yourself needing a tow in this area. I was dreading the bill, considering it was a roughly 30-40 mile tow to a different city, but I was very pleased with my bill and the service that we received. If you need a tow, do yourself a favor and call these guys first. This was the best experience I've ever had with a towing company all-around. Thank you guys so much. You literally saved the day when my son and I were stranded miles from home, and we're very grateful for everything."

"I just have to give a HUGE shoutout to Josh at Midnight Blue Towing (out of Crown Point). On our way back home from Cedar Lake over the weekend (we live in Chesterton), a pulley snapped causing my serpentine belt to completely shred and break on my Jeep. Life happens, but when it happens with your baby next to you… it’s just scary. We called around for a tow and everyone was busy or couldn’t accommodate our needs. By the time we came across Midnight Blue, I was in pure panic mode explaining we had a baby and needed to make sure he not only could travel safely in a tow truck, but that we could be taken care of quickly so that he could be fed in a timely manner. They told us 30 minutes and got there in 25! Josh was AMAZING! He unhooked the base of our sons car seat for me while my husband transferred the baby to the truck, made sure to get all of the shredded pieces of what belt was left out of the engine bay and confirmed my husband’s suspicions about the pulley. He was so kind, understanding and very knowledgeable! He also was great to talk to the whole way home, calming my mama heart down. Once he got us and the Jeep back home, he made sure it was safe enough (cooled down) so that he could park it where we needed it. The extra things he did for us may seem small to others, but to us, it meant the world. We all made it back home safe and relieved. I like to think that Josh was a BIG part of that!"
