"Wendy is absolutely amazing I can’t express how much I appreciate her kindness and care! Is very hard to find somebody in the medical industry who actually listens cares And actually wants to help you. She has made a tremendous difference And help me find different ways to cope with the different things going on with my health. I can’t recommend her and the staff enough!! Thank you For being a blessing!"
"I'm not sure this office even deserves 1 star. After years of being a patient I've only seen Dr. Ahmed a couple times because she is never there. The office staff is very rude and unprofessional. Scheduling an appointment has been a nightmare due to their schedule. After not being seen for a year I received a bill in the mail, and was treated so rudely when I tried getting any info on what it was for. Overall a very rude office. So happy I found a new PCP!"
"I have nothing against Dr. Nadira Ahmed herself. She's a nice lady, a very good doctor but my issue is with her staff & her NP. Her staff & NP are unprofessional & can be rude. My mom, my husband & I have been Dr. Ahmed's patients for about 8 years but because of how they have treated us in the past months we have decided to find a new PCP. It's unfortunate but we don't appreciate being treated rudely. You know, the NP ordered a full panel lab work on the 3 of us about 3 or 4 months ago & when the results came in they called & gave us the results over the phone. So, we already know the results but our new PCP wants those results. I can't believe that they're telling me that they can't disclose that information without first making a doctor appointment. Seriously, that's ridiculous! This is the type of nonsense that we tolerated for almost 8 years but because we liked Dr. Ahmed we tolerated but we can't any longer. You know an established patient has the right to be able to see her doctor not the NP. She always says my mom & I are diabetics. Wrong! Why ? Because we're obese? Well despite our weight we're not diabetics. She has prescribed wrong medication, has been rude to my mom, rude to my husband & that's unacceptable! Sorry, Dr. Ahmed but you have lost 3 of your long time patients because of your staff & NP."
"I like Dr. Ahmed, unfortunately the staff is unprofessional, the office is small so discussing your current medical issues or why you are there at the front desk window out loud is a violation of HIPAA law. Then I was told I owed 50 dollars after not coming back to visit for a year and all of my co-pays were up to date my last visit. When asked for detailed billing, EOB or a receipt, I was given a printout of what I paid which explained nothing. They tried to convince me not to make an appointment just in case my insurance wouldn’t cover it. Since when do we put the health of a patient on the back burner for insurance? I guess that is the American way. The healthcare system in general is in need of reform because doctors and their staff are less about promoting health and wellness and more about promoting weight loss pills and money. I would like to keep Dr. Ahmed as my primary doctor but the wait is long, schedule is sketchy, and staff is rude and incompetent also in violation of HIPAA law. That alone has me searching for another practice!"
"If I could give 0 stars, I would. First, I had a to keep calling to get results on an MRI the doctor didn't think was necessary. The office had the results to for over 2 weeks. Then had to wait 2 more weeks to get the referral for a specialist for that issue (looks like doc was wrong). I had to physically go in to the office to get the referral that they said was faxed to the specialist (nope). Second, I had blood work done that will show if I have a blood disorder that is genetic & almost killed my mother; whom is now on medication for life. That too, needed a physical appearance to obtain the results (which doc still hasn't looked at). The results were in the following business day but the office didn't seem to care. I had to wait 10 days before I could get off of work to get the results. I am left to interpret the results myself. I normally don't do reviews but the doc was aware of this being a life threatening condition. It seems there is no concern for patients. And I have run out of patience & possibly time. So, I found a new doctor."
