"They probably don’t even deserve two stars. I deposited a moderately sized check last Wednesday at the ATM. I called customer service because it said “Bank Withheld” or something like that. No reason. I call and they tell me it’s an ATM thing and that I should go to the branch. I go there and speak to the Assistant Branch Manager who is quick to dismiss my issue because that’s not controlled by them. Sure, fine. The thing is that because of this unnecessary hold, my account has been in the negatives since. They wouldn’t release any more funds or do anything to even try to get it cleared. They said it was set to clear Friday but it usually only takes 3-4 business days. Given the holiday, that meant either Tuesday or today (Wednesday). So as more bills become past due, I still can’t have the money from a refund check because nobody has done anything about it. The assistant branch manager promised to be on it first thing yesterday and that she would call me Tuesday morning. It is now the end of the business day, and I’ve heard nothing. I have two accounts with them that are now below zero and the money that should’ve been in there is not. All of this is for my supposed protection. This just doesn’t make any sense. If I had gone to a teller, they would have cashed it out up to a certain dollar amount. Whether it be 1,000 or 10,000… idk. But you know what I didn’t get? Not enough to cover my truck payment. Or NIPSCO. Or gas. Or anything else that I need. It’s been a hard enough time lately and now I can’t have funds that I have a right to because the bank wants to hold them till Friday after falsely claiming that I should have this resolved by today (the fourth business day since I deposited it, accounting for the the 4th and the weekend.) I can no longer recommend this bank or this branch to anyone. The moment my check clears, I’m emptying my account and switching banks. A lot of this could have been avoided with half decent service. Not just the usual “oh it’s not our fault”"
"I am adding: 3/20/24. Just left the drive thru. Was there for 7 minutes waiting for 40 dollars. (The atm was down) There were 2 people in the window. It was me another car in the first window and one waiting. The one wating got through before I did. I don't mind sending my ID but sometimes they want it an other times not. I did mistakenly said ten minutes but the young man that helped me was visibility irritate. I tried my best not to be rude but I guess I was. The young lady was lovely but it is really disheartening when I used to love this bank. Have had problems for years. I try to avoid this branch as much as I can and I only live 3 blocks. Centier in Highland is so much more professional and welcoming. I give them 5"

"Disgusting attitude their staff has. They make you feel like you're lesser than them and when you don't speak to them exactly as they prefer they get nasty with you. Don't bank with a bank that allows this type of attitude in their employees."
