Werner Christmas Wonderland

"We are starting a new tradition of going to watch decorated, lit up houses for Christmas and heard a lot about this one and it was more than we could've imagined! It's FREE and about 15 minutes from us and the property is a residence, a corner house that extends some ways down the block. It's obvious the moment you pull up that the Werner Family has put in a considerable amount of time, money and effort into making this truly a Christmas wonderland! There's different characters from Christmas movies like Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon Christmas Vacation and Buddy from Elf. Frosty and the Grinch are there too! There's a life size ferris wheel and other lit fixtures. You can drop of a letter to be mailed to Santa and on some days, see the man himself along with Mrs. Claus. Most importantly though, they work with the local Boys and Girls Club and they are a legit drop off site for new, unopened toys. So great to have something like this in the community!"

"We go every year. Multiple times. It’s my absolute favorite place to take photos each year. It’s magical being there under the lights. The best Santa and Mrs. Claus in NWI make appearances. You can donate to toys for tots and the animal shelter. My kids love the candy canes and letters for Santa mailbox."
