"EXCELLENT work!!!!! They tore out an old concrete pad & installed an egress window. Very professional & very highly recommended by us!"
"NWI Builders completed a small project at our home. The work was done professional, on time, and with-in budget. At this time, it is nice to find a contractor that does quality work. Also, the job site was left cleaner than when they started! A very satisfied customer."
"I usually do not like to write these types of reviews. I feel I have to be truthful to my unfortunate situation. Here is the story: I am a young female who owns a rental duplex who needed to have some water issues fixed in the downstairs bathroom. At first, we did not know how extensive the work would be. Ray and I discussed hourly cost and total estimates. I do understand the estimation factor. I always have my tenants text me when a contractor arrives and text me when the contractor leaves. I like to keep track of hours spent at the residences. The work was completed with a few minor errors on the contractors end. I was indeed charged for labor that as well (which I do not think I should have been charged). That is not even my only argument. The final bill came and upon reviewing the hours I showed an overage of three hours. I contacted Ray via email and he basically told me I was “incorrect”. I decided to call him to discuss my concerns. He proceeded to tell me there are trip charges. WHAT? That was never disclosed to me prior to moving forward with the work. I was told it is standard practice to charge an hour of work to get to the job site. After hearing of this so called trip charge I asked around, did my own online research and polled other companies. It turns out trip charges are NOT standard practice in the business. I was basically taken advantage of. To me it is not about the money it is about the “bad faith” from the contractor. I paid the bill in full and will not be contacting them for any further work at my buildings or would I recommend them to any friends, family or colleagues."
