Welcome to the Illinois International Port District, a vital transit hub located at 3600 East 95th Street, Chicago, Illinois 60617. Strategically positioned at the southwest corner of Lake Michigan and the entrance of the Calumet River, our Iroquois Landing facility spans 190 acres and serves as a gateway for international ship traffic via the St. Lawrence Seaway.

Our port boasts an extensive railway infrastructure that connects to six of the seven North American Class I railroads, including BNSF, CN, CP, CSX, NS, and UP, as well as the Belt Railway, the Indiana Harbor Belt, and several shortline railroads. This connectivity ensures efficient and seamless transportation solutions for a wide range of industries.

Conveniently located near major US interstates, our facilities offer easy access to I-90/94, with quick connections to I-80, I-57, I-55, and I-65, making us a prime location for logistics and distribution.

Our Lake Calumet Terminal, situated six nautical miles southeast of Lake Michigan, handles a diverse array of commodities transported via barge from the Gulf of Mexico and throughout the Mississippi River system, including the Illinois River, ensuring year-round operations.
