"This is such a treasure in the heart of a big city! It is easy to access from many neighborhoods as there are many on and off points along the way. It is beautifully landscaped with shade and seating in some areas. It is a pleasant place to visit, get exercise and be away from traffic. You will find people walking with friends and family, or alone, plus people on bikes, roller skating, running and relaxing mid-walk."
"Favorite place to walk and relax close to home since it’s opening day. Definitely a hidden gem and hopefully it stays that way. Weekends get way too crowded, especially on nice sunny days, but for the most part, people are respectful of each other’s space. Only 2.7 miles from end to end. Great place to get your steps in and avoid waiting for stoplights and cars. It’s slightly quieter since you’re above the noisy streets and pass in-between residential buildings. If you’ve never been, you gotta try it at least once."
"The 606 Trail is a great place to relax, exercise, run bikes, skate, walk your dogs if you have any, or simply take a nice walk through several Northside neighborhoods!"
"I heard not too many start in the west end, but we had a great time doing some outdoor walking education with our group of optometrists. Good color coding and space for biking vs running/walking. Offshoots and benches along with Day Glow 0.5 mile in for coffee and pastries. Highly recommend!"
"Beautiful elevated park. Well landscaped and a grest way to see the neighborhoods. Easy kn and off at major intersections. Joggers, walkers, and bikers are used with ease."
