"1st I wanna start by saying that I've been coming to this church for the past 10 years. The priest is really nice very funny professional..his coordinator assistant by the name of Sandra Bustamante Now this lady I can honestly say that she is something special. she is extremely rude she makes everything so difficult for you for your child if you have any children assisting any Sunday classes for 1st communion etc . Sandra will NOT work with u . She denied me by not allowing me to register my kids for Sunday school because I did not have the funds for the program. She honestly made me feel horrible knowing that she's not supposed to refuse anyone that wants to enroll in the program. Sandra is not humble i don't understand why she's still working for the church with that terrible attitude. She acts like she's so perfect and she knows it all. She always tries to contradic everything that you say like if your child . Very unprofessional. She needs to go . She needs to be replaced by someone caring , humble and who loves her job by actually helping people and children and making them feel comfortable. I can honestly say that I've been dealing with this lady for the past years since she ever came to this church and it's been the worst experience ever every time."
"I was in a pinch this morning waiting for a truck to come and help me move my motorcycle, I met the pastor's and talked to them ,share my problem with them they were very gracious and helpful . I would just say it was a great experience and it was it was nice I ended up running into an obstacle getting it up into this high truck and a couple of the maintenance guys there helped out open arms ...and what is the Bible say we're supposed to serve serve God and serve God through good works for other people and that's exactly what they did without even batting an eye and just helped very very appreciative guys !!God bless you all thank you! you know Jesus says to spread the word and do good works and I would have to say that that was the epitome today jesus's teachings because they were there with open arms to offer assistance and helped me!!"
"St. Ann’s is a warm welcoming community. Love the people who make up this parish. They are family to us!"
"My family used to attend St. Ann Catholic Parish in Lansing. Some of them still do. It's completely shocking to see Fr. McFarlane's posts on social media using divisive language and attacking democrats, women, children, and people of color with such alienating and hateful posts. All of my family is democrat and they have contributed large amounts of money to St. Ann's. It would be a different story today if they knew that the priest followed trump more than the teachings of Jesus. Not one Holy post on his wall. The behavior by this priest is unacceptable."
"Personally went to this school as a child it is a weakly taught school only interested in the payment coming to them each month very little concern for its students and if I'm being honest religious beliefs being mixed in with fact while trying to learn is absolutely counter productive"
