"Had a great time when I was here although I know it's changed some. I enjoyed the variety of vocational choices offered"
"68-71 horrible teachers angry students I hated this school, Counselors and most of the teachers. I have no good memories of this school and no help with how to make it work it was 68 and I will never ever like anything about this place in my memories."
"A great high school experience, it seems back then (class of 1977) everyone was striving to be and do the very best they could. From wood shop, academics, to sports, we all wanted to be the best."
"I'm from the class of 1966 and my experience was excellent I sang in a pop group called The Chimes and we had a great football team."
"It was back in the mid 50's. CVS (as it was known then) was an excellant school for those of us who would need a trade to sustain them after graduation. Perfect for a guy like me who knew there was no daddys haberdashery to fall into. The school was tough but survivable and the instructors were all top shelf. I especially liked the male instructors who were tough and sincere and gave good advice to us punks on the threshold of manhood. I went back for my 50th reunion and seen some of the improvements both good and bad. Students had a disciplinarian to keep the 'action' at a minimum and us visitors went unmolested. Odd to see how the young students had to but on an air of toughness. Probably just to get by as I did in my time. The teachers there had little or no knowledge of the schools great history even though there was a website dedicated to that purpose. I am too old to go back again but I'm still proud to be an alumni. I do hope the school's website will return when the school term begins in the fall."
