Reviews
"As usual, a wonderful experience at the Goodman. We frequent this theater. More so than any other. Nothing negative to say."
"Excellent place to watch theater and we really enjoyed "A Christmas Carol". I took one star away because we had to wear or coats and I had to wear my hat because it was so chilly in there."
"Nacirema Society is one of the best productions I've seen at the Goodman in years, beginning with the set and all the way through -- the script, acting, sound (always iffy, but not with this play!). Did I mention the script? Outstanding. Bravo to all involved. I feel very privileged to have seen it. Thank you."
"The Who’s Tommy was worth the travel to Chicago from Virginia. The show was simply the best production I’ve witnessed in my many years of attending theatrical productions. The Goodman was such a welcoming space. The seats were roomy and comfortable and the theater was very well-appointed. A prefect experience. I would like to take a moment to highlight the staff and the theater’s commitment to accessibility. We came on a day where an audio described performance was available. The attention to detail in welcoming those that might not otherwise be able to enjoy the show was remarkable. After the show we went to Petterino’s for a quick bite. One of the Goodman staff was jovially escorting a group of visually impaired audience goers to their table. Such kindness and thoughtfulness. One of the most impeccable theater experiences I’ve ever had the pleasure to be a part of. I can’t wait to come back."
