"The Forrest Preserve needs to do a better job of its upkeep. Especially on 159th. street from the Expressway to state line RD. and on Torrence Avenue from the mall to Pulaski RD. Also, they should be cleaning up and cutting down and backing back the trees and vegetation not to mention they never ever clean up from 159th. St. and State line Rd. To Michigan City RD. And it's sad to see how many other locations the forest preserve department does not maintain in the City of Calumet City; it's a shame when other departments such as the City and State are forced to use their already understaffed manpower just so it's residents aren't embarrassed; because those who work at the forest preserve simply want your votes but obviously could care less if Calumet City residents live in filthy conditions. This has been ongoing for the last 15 years."
