"**PREVIOUS NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE A REFLECTION OF THE MEDICAL PRACTICE & SUPPORT STAFF, NOT DR. HOFFMAN AS A DOCTOR** The wait times & scheduling difficulties have NOTHING to do with Dr. Hoffman. A problem with the office should be made with for the medical OFFICE, not the doctor. They ALL have pages on Google, yelp, etc. As of fall 2021, she is with a new practice called Dermio Dermatology in Dyer. Dermio Dermatology is a private practice that is not affiliated with either Community or Franciscan's network. I guarantee your office experience at Dermio will be significantly better. If you did have issues scheduling, think about WHY she is hard to get in to see. Would her schedule be this full if she had a questionable or negative reputation?? I'd question a specialist who can see you immediately, their schedule is not full for a reason. Ok, so onto my actual review: I CANNOT say enough wonderful things about Dr. Hoffman. I've been seeing her for 15 years! I started in college, & continued through getting married, both of my pregnancies & both of my kids are also now patients. My 80+ year old grandparents have also been patients for over 10 years. Every person we've referred to her becomes a long-term patient because they obviously are happy with her. I was looking up the new office website when I saw a low rating on her Google page & totally shocked at the explanation of patient's low star rating. Believe me, I would not drop what I was doing to share how happy we are with Dr. Laura Hoffman as a doctor. The fact that patients are basing their negative experience with the actual office to reflect her as a doctor. She really is the best & worth the wait."

"Dr. Hoffman was a friendly, kind doctor. Went in with a rash on my chin that she immediately diagnosed as Impetigo. I suffered for weeks bc I couldn't get back in. She's so busy! I finally self diagnosed myself with perioral dermatitis- the most common skin rash for women my age. I was just confused that that wouldn't be her first guess, and I guess it wouldn't be a big deal if it was easier to get a follow-up visit."
