"The playground at Bradley Park isn't glamorous or particularly unique, but is a standard and traditional neighborhood playground. There is one large play structure with a variety of slides and climbing elements. There is a standard set of Chicago Park swings (toddler, adaptive, and belt seat) as well as a see-saw and spinning saucer. The play area is fenced from the street but not fully enclosed and there are a few tables and the low perimeter wall for seating around the wood chip covered play area. Ground breaking? No. Satisfactory? Yes."
"It's an ok neighborhood park. But it's not the most clean, or visually appealing park I've seen. But I give it 3 stars because kids laugh whole heartedly and seem to have so much fun as they play there. Update: My daughter and I went there last night for the movies in the park event. We've gone to many Movies in the Park events all across the city. They have all been totally free, including snacks. But not at Bradley Park. For some reason, they are the only park to charge for "free" snacks. I believe a lot of things are donated and or given to Bradley Park for free, with the intentions that it is to be given to guest in attendance. But no, the workers at Bradley Park decided to make a profit from what is suppose to be a free city event. We will never be back."
"Go there in the morning. So far I haven't seen any gangbangers hanging congregating there, but sometimes there are rowdy teens there who ruin the fun for younger children who just want to play. There is a basketball court, an open field, and a run down track. There aren't any public bathrooms."
"Well, I loved it 45 years ago when this was our neighborhood park, and I was five. If you think you are losing your mind as you get older; no, you haven't forgot the name of your childhood park. This used to be called Bensley Park, just like the nearby street: Bensley Avenue. Our entrance was "the keyhole" - the gate at the end of 97th place, which is (or at least, was) a cul-de-sac with a green, flower-gardened circle. Hence, the short street with a garden circle at the end resembled a key-hole in an old-fashioned door-lock."
