However, her patients (most of them older and understand old school physician) LOVE her! She has many long-term patients who are 100+ because she is very good at treating chronic illnesses. "I am a paramedic, medical assistant and phlebotomist. I have worked in the medical field for over a decade and I have never had the misfortune of dealing with people at the level of this doctor and her staff. I called in a report for my geriatric relative who was not feeling well so that the doctor had all the details cause naturally someone geriatric wont recall all details or medications so they have family to assist. The person I spoke with to give the report was completely uneducated I hope and pray their only task was to make appointments cause even attempting to convey what my family members blood pressure ranges have been at home was a disaster. I tried to explain signs and symptoms and interventions of my family members current illness and she was unable to understand something as simple as "Nebulizer treatments with albuterol brought relief to the shortness of breath, however she maintains low oxygen sats." How difficult is it to write that down for the doctor? She was rude and tried to speak to me as if I was the problem. You need new staff. Immediately before someone gets killed if you cant take a basic report from a relative how do you retrieve consult notes or plans of care from other providers for your patients. God help them. I ended up just leaving my phone number and asked the doctor to call me. Which she never did."
