"The customer service and in any ways on me contacting my care team is TERRIBLE. They have me contacting my previous hospital which also has mychart and im doing all the work when they could help by contacting them. Thats not my job, I'm disabled and they have me doing all their work. Dr. Issa and Dr. Warnke are amazing."
"Billing department is a nightmare to deal with. They told me they were in network with my insurance, then 2 weeks after they’re charging me out of network costs. After a phone call between my insurance claims department and someone from their billing, I was then told that my cost of service would be updated in 2 weeks. It’s been over a MONTH and billing insists I still owe out of network costs. It’s ridiculous and I wish the department was much more functional. I shouldn’t have to feel like I’ve been negotiating my medical bill cost from the out-of-network $700 to the promised in-network $57."
"I'm only giving three stars right now because the level of care my mom is getting in the er is wonderful..but just one question, where is housekeeping?? I have never seen a hospital so dirty and the bathroom in her room in the er, unspeakable. I thank God she hasn't had to go. Pls do better. We came in by ambulance before seven this morning and I have yet to see anyone in housekeeping."
"My mother has a few life threatening conditions and they have saved her life several times over the years. We almost lost her this last time and the team was able to successfully bring her back. Her doctors call daily with thorough updates whenever she has an extended stay. I am forever grateful."
"I honestly can’t believe how bad this hospital feel off. I was told they only had fifty beds in the er. I arrived at 7am and another lady I was speaking too has been here since 4am and it’s been over 9 hours waiting still haven’t been seen. They told a husband he couldn’t wait with his sick wife, mind you they were in the late 70s. It’s should’ve been more colder in the waiting room considering there were people throwing up on the floor, people laying on the floor, people laying across the seats. If you’re looking for a hospital that is well staff just drive to Munster Indiana and save yourself the time. And your loved ones can wait with you."
