"Cage was wonderful, when I had my mom services in 2015 and also, I had my son there in 2019, tragically due to his unexpected death at the age of 42. Again exceptional service. Even after the services, A written condolences was sent after their funerals and a small momental sent thanking me again for using them for taking care of my love ones needs, at such a devastating time. However, when my dad died in 2023, I did not receive the superb service and care pervious provided. I don't know if it was because the founder Mr.Cage, who I personally knew thru my friend who was his relative and also, I was from his hometown of Joliet Illinois. He was a magnificent man and was a classy gentleman. It took me awhile to post this review because when you grieve you are in a state of sadness and numb.They didn't check that my music was provided with a checklist or call, as previously done to make sure all was in order. I was recovering from recent breast cancer surgery and follow up and the needed assistance I was provided before was lacking this time. They still are one of the best funeral home, in Chicago just disappointing for me this time."

From the time we entered Cage facility we were greeted by Mr. Augustus Cage with a warm smile and gave his condolences. He also talked with us and had a wonderful sense of humor. Through the process, the funeral director, Mrs. Diane Moseley, was very comforting and she went through the process with us thoroughly. Any questions that we had she was very knowledgeable in answering them. Mrs. Moseley even assisted us in some documentations that we needed to close out our loved one's personal business with no hesitation. "My family and I decided to have my mother's funeral services here. The place was clean - modernized with a PowerPoint presentation and online obituary services. The prepass provided at a extra cost is well worth it and the Catering company served a excellent array of breakfast quiches, mini snacks, fruits and juices. The funeral Director that attended to our needs was a young man by the name of Eric Smith. He was engaging, warm, informative and very professional. This is a much smaller funeral chapel, but the advantages of using a smaller chapel is so they can devote their attention to YOU and YOU ONLY. We had went to another funeral chapel prior to Cage and there were two services going at one time. I felt like we were in the way and our time with the funeral Director felt rushed and hurried. If you want to go somewhere where you can get their total undivided attention...... Cage Memorial is a place you might want to call and make an appointment. I have attended this chapel in the past and felt the services given were nice. In a week were at times I wasn't given the respect necessary during this time of mourning, Cage - Director gave us a place of comfort and security.
