"Todd Pressley Karen Panozzo Leticia White Tamberly Wynn These are all of the people I’ve been reaching out to since December 2022 to get a payment on a paint job completed for Chase banks through them. They ignore our calls and emails. Anytime I have been able to reach Karen she hangs up on me telling me she is busy and never calls back or answers my emails. Todd “President” directs me to Karen and when I tell him she hangs up on me he just insults her like he is going to do something about it and doesn’t. I am sick and tired of begging for a service we provided. Stay away from this company as they will only use you to fund their projects and based on their contracts we can’t do anything about it. Let me explain Subcontractor doesn’t get paid until contractor gets paid by client. Subcontractor cannot speak to client. Therefor you can’t prove anything. All they keep saying is the client CHASE BANK hasn’t paid them. Only thing we can do at this point is start writing reviews and have someone notify chase that they need to start paying their contractors. Next step is bringing awareness to chase that subcontractors aren’t getting paid. These people are a joke stay away"

"This company is a joke. The RUDE lady that answers the phone cannot seem to keep cuss words inside of her head. Cussed me out, placed me on hold for 15 minutes for no reason because she got mad. This company DOES NOT care about the customer, their work is shoddy (at best), i WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone, not even a homeless person."
"Ujamaa Construction Company has poor project management oversight and lacks the tenacity to oversee the subcontractors work in order to provide their clients with quality workmanship. In October 2009, Jerry & Sons Roofing & Remodeling was hired as a subcontractor by Ujamaa Construction Company to remove the old roof and put on a new roof (a complete tear-off) for our church(Bethel Lutheran Church located at 130 N Keeler, Chicago, IL). By Nov 2009, the roofing tiles were loose, flapping in the air and coming off the roof. Our church has endured a long period of constantly requesting roofing repairs via Ujamaa Construction Company to have Jerry & Sons Roofing repair our church roof. I strongly would NOT recommend Jerry & Sons Roofing & Remodeling for any roofing jobs – extremely POOR QUALITY WORK!!! Currently six years later(2015), the roofing tiles are still coming off, the tuck pointing work is deteriorating and walls of the church sanctuary are showing signs of moisture damage. Submitted on 7/13/15 -- we need your prayers and help. Thank you!"
