"This Realtor company is just ok nothing to brag about. If you are renting your home I suggest you keep direct contact with your tenants, if not, you may not be notified of certain repairs that could cost you later. Norman Realty does not check with tenants in a timely manner to ask if there's needed repairs. Also, there needs to be a man who can better translate repair issues to the owner of homes because the current staff of women are not that knowledgeable. Recieving maintenance information from them is like a lesson from Charlie Brown's teacher."
"I moved out before my lease was up put in my thirty day notice and now they want a months rent that I was not there for and telling every other management company horrible things about my rental history never was late on rent! Ridiculous"
"Absolutely horrendous property management. They left us without AC for 6 months in the middle of the summer WHILE I was pregnant, then with a newborn, and I have a medical condition. They never offered a window unit and when we asked they said “we can’t give you one because someone else has our only one”. They refused to fix stuff and blamed the contracted service provider. They said they would send someone out and never did. When the service provider was called by us they said they never received any work orders. Tried to charge us to replace carpet that hadn’t been replaced since the 70s. They also tried to charge us for damages that they caused and never repaired. Customer service is absolutely terrible. They get attitudes and snappy when you press them to fix issues and do their job. I have rented from other places that are a million times better. If you’re a service member they will try to increase your rent astronomically. If you are currently battling them to get issues fixed and they are refusing or are being difficult, read the GA tent handbook and even then they probably won’t fix anything. Just avoid this place at all cost but if you are in a situation I recommend lawyering up because you’re not going to get anywhere. This was our experience."
"I’m quite disappointed in (Norman Reality) on their professionalism and treatment towards my husband and I. To keep it short. I found a place I wanted and paid the application with my husband (Military) we told them about the inconvenience and that we in the property. And that we weren’t ready to sign the rent agreement because of these inconvenience where far to dangerous. And to top it off there was a sliding door that didn’t close in the property meaning anyone could come inside at night. They said ok we’ll fix it. 3 weeks went by and 2 more weeks and NOTHING was done. So one day my husband comes in to ask about it since I wasn’t taken seriously. Keep in mind my husband came right after he got pepper sprayed and taze. And our request was still pushed to the side. They took it to the manager and the manager did Absolutely nothing. All they could say was that their vendor/ handy man has stoped working with them. 1) they didn’t have the courtesy to update us. When we did this progress since March. And to be told that in February was quite up setting. They said “hey we’ll work on it this upcoming week we’ll let you know when it’s done” I NEVER received an email,call, etc. It is now April and I have come to the information they Not only sell it to another person when we were at the top of the leasing list for that leasing property.2) once again, they didn’t have the courtesy to let me know that the place was no longer up for leasing. I STILL had hopes for this place since they said they were still fixing it. However, it was quite disappointing when I found out that they have given it to someone else. Their excuse was that I said I no longer wanted it. When I have specifically been calling March, February, and April for that specific place. I not angry but I am very much DISAPPOINTED in there professionalism, courtesy, and help. I’m not saying not to rent from this place, but I am saying to think twice about it."
"I Despise dealing with Norman Reality, would rather have a root canal with no novacaine. Front desk is extremely rude and very unknowledgable. Moved into my trailer and nothing was fixed.There was black mold, holes in interior, stove didn't work, fridge doesn't work, vent hood doesn't work, no receptacle covers on outlets, no working smoke detectors, the trailer was unclean and smelled musty and moldy, no kitchen drawers close. Bathroom window doesn't open so there's no ventilation in bathroom so lots of mold. The screen door wont close and constantly slams. My husband is a veteran and the constant slamming triggers his pstd.The back door wouldn't stay closed unless locked which took over a week, meaning we could not secure our residents. The biggest problem is the plumbing which we told them about. Maintenence came and unclogged the toilet and said he would back to finish the job, He never came back and the septic tank backed up into the yard. When we called to report it as an emergency, I was treated rudely and told the maintenance guy was with family and wouldn't be here until 2 to 3 days later, even tho our neighbors complained of the odor as well. They REFUSE to work with my husband and I, asked them if I could call someone out myself (since they never send anyone when they say) and send them the invoice they said they didnt do reimbursement. When I asked for my deposit back because I had to clean everything myself, they refused. Front desk either lies about sending someone else or refuses to help. 0 out of 10 would never recommend"
