24 Hour Laundry Zone-Amelia Island

"Just ok. The card method of payment isn’t conducive for people that will only stop here a single time, and then never see it again. I wasted $7, purely because your only options are to “transfer” $5, $10 or $20 from your bank card to the laundry card. There’s also no bathroom. Fortunately there’s a Shell station across the street. The machines seem like they work well enough. If ever back in this area, I will go elsewhere."

"(December 22, 2023) Came back because we seen the plaza being painted and it was opened 24 hours, wanted to see if things changed... nope, still kind of dirty but know the bathroom is locked. We will not spend $20 a week to do laundry here driving from Dunn Avenue to have no bathroom to use. The gas station across the street will not allow you to use theirs either. Times are changing and there was a few homeless bikers taking over the front area by the front door. (September 17th, 2020)Our family has been coming here on and off since 2015... we’re full timers in our RV and we just got into town around midnight coming in from Michigan. Had some laundry to do, let’s go here and get it done before we settle in our site. Well... no one is wearing their masks, we’ve been watching folks in and out of here. Why??? Disappointed in our area cause even the gas station had 2 out of 8 people wearing a mask, we have a special needs son and he needs everyone to help him stay alive not just 2 people out of 8, just saying. (September 20th, 2020) Our family wanted to come back one more time to see if during the day was better but it isn’t... 4 people out 10 wasn’t wearing their masks... and homeless all over the front door with bikes and garbage all over. What is going on? No"

"The place is ok, not great not horrible. Both the machines I used seemed to work fine. One thing I don't care for is laundry cards. They are fine for regular customers but not for people who don't live in the area. Credit card machines I find much easier. The laundry cards force you to put money on a card which you might never use again, or run out before you are done. The place is a bit dirty and needs cleanup."

"No hot water in the machines. Turn dial to hot and only cold water comes out. You can feel the temperature as the water is coming out to get the soap through. They charge more money for hot but only cold water is being used. Customers are being charged for a service the laundry is not providing."
