"I set up an appointment to get an estimate regarding having an exterior outlet installed for an RV. A crew showed up the next day, ready to do the job (which they knew nothing about) before even giving me a quote. The gentleman in charge said he would write up the estimate when he got back to the office later that day. A few days later I called to inquire, and the lady who answered said they were waiting on prices for the materials and should have the estimate later that day. I confirmed my contact info, then never heard back.... completely unorganized and unprofessional."

"It pains me to write this review but after several very pleasant experiences using Johnny's Electric this last job has been incredibly disappointing. I had four recessed lights installed in my new office at my house. Johnny's showed up on time and the young man installing was fine. After finishing up he pointed out that the switch plate did not fully cover the hole cut in the sheet rock leaving an ugly gap for all to see. He promised to be back after the weekend to put a larger size on that would hide the gap. That was two weeks ago. No switch plate and my wife and I have called 4 times with absolutely no response from anyone. They were very quick to sent the invoice for payment, which I am holding until they get this fixed. Unfortunately I doubt I will ever use them again nor recommend them to anyone."

"We recently bought a house which has a pool in Fernandina Beach but the pool lights and landscape lighting did not work. I contacted 3 electricians; two never responded and third said he couldn't take on any more work. I tried Johnny's and a 'real person' answered the phone and scheduled an appointment. Unfortunately, she said that it would be about a week and half before they had an opening so we set the day and time-range between 8-10 am on the day when they would show. I never got a reminder or re-confirmation from them and figured there was a better than 50-50 chance they wouldn't show. I was wrong. At 8:10 'Michael' pulled up, assessed the problem and went to work. He patiently and graciously had to undo my attempts at a repair, took the time to explain what he was doing and charged a very fair price. It was quite obvious Michael knew what he was doing and he worked quickly. One can only ask three things from a contractor: 1. Show up when you say you will. 2. Do it right. 3. Be fair in your fees. They nailed all three. I highly recommend Johnny's Electric and will use them again. I will be sure to request Michael!"
