Reviews
"Found this marker while in the area looking for historical sites. Susie King Taylor was born into slavery, educated in secrecy, and became a nurse and teacher: publishing her memoir, "Reminiscences of My Life in Camp with the 33rd United States Colored Troops" in 1902, ten years before her death. This marker is in front of the Midway First Presbyterian Church cemetery though she is buried in Massachusetts."
