"We came here because we had heard so many great things about this marina from Loopers. We have only done a partial part of the loop but we have stayed here twice. We went from Jacksonville, FL to Crotin on Hudson and then back home. We were here for four night because of Hurricane Debbie. I will tell you, if you have to be stuck some where during a hurricane, this is it. They had a prop-tune hurricane party and still had their happy hours and Olympic games. Suchh fun and nice people!!"
"We enjoyed 8 days at the Brunswick Landing Marina. Upon docking we were greeted by Randy and his lovely wife - also the Activities Director - who both helped us tie up and get our electric going. We were given a Welcome package, with information about the Marina and the area. Our first impression was great and continued throughout our entire stay. The Marina is beautiful and very well taken care of. They have a nice Shower/Restroom Area for Men & Women - as well as a FREE laundry area. At the Dock Office - we were greeted by Dan & Kyle - and Dan always had treats at the ready for our Lab & Golden Doodle. On behalf of our dogs, they loved this Marina. Right near our Dock was a large and very clean fenced in Dog Park on Marina property as well as a lot of green space to explore. The Marina is convenient to Historic Downtown Brunswick - which we walked every evening and enjoyed the multitude of eateries. Wonderful stay at a great marina with friendly, helpful staff. We will be back!"
"We came to Brunswick Landing Marina in January 2023 and left to journey on the Great American Loop in April 2023. During our stay we met lots of people who when we left felt like family. This marina made us feel welcomed. We decided as soon as we left that we would like to end our loop journey here and again it felt like coming home. The addition of Gina Broussart, events coordinator, makes it even better! The dock staff were pleasant and friendly. This marina has clean restrooms and laundry facilities that rival any other marina! Thank you Michael Torras for an excellent experience! Your marina definitely deserves to be the best in marinas! We just hope to come for an extended visit next spring 2025!"
"We are currently at BLM and will be here for about a year. We just returned from a 3 year tour of the Bahamas and Caribbean and were last here in 2018 ish. This has always been the absolute safest place during hurricane season anywhere on the east coast of the US. Location plus concrete docks, concrete pilings, and almost 360 degree protection means we are safe. That’s plus number 1. Since we left in 2018 the facilities have had a major upgrade. Bathrooms/showers, security, laundry (free!), bicycles (free!), grills (free!), payment/billing process, and indoor common areas are all either brand new or nicely improved. Plus there has been the addition of a playground for the kids and a massive dog park to let Fido roam around. They have also hired high quality yard staff and now have a credible yard for maintenance and repairs. Some basics: - dock carts almost always available - cruisers gatherings nearly every day. This is a group of folks that actively travel in their boats so you’ll be around actual sailors. - CLEAN bathrooms and showers - Solid WiFi (free) - Big beefy cleats - Safe and stable gangways - No current Other good stuff: - Remote cameras on all the docks so you can see who is coming and going - An online weather station - Stable power - Downtown location with access to many quality restaurants, services, and stores. Last, the management team is super visible and responsive. When an issue comes up, the team quickly responds and often delivers an upgrade in direct response to the request. Just this month they added hot water capacity, shower stools, and some nice shelving. What we don’t love: 1. there are some gnats and skeeters. This is Georgia and the protected location means a few more bugs than in a more open water marina. This is just part of the security equation. The marina does a great job of controlling what they can control and the breeze normally solves, but on a still day get some Off! 2. It’s a bit of a trek to open water. Again this is a function of the security but it’s tough to go out for just a day. 3. The paper mill can be a little stinky in the wrong wind. It’s not often thankfully."
"This marina feels like home. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The facilities are well-stocked, spacious, and inviting. It is quite a social marina with loads of events and gatherings among fellow cruisers. You will not be eager to leave!"
