The Edge Fitness Clubs

"I moved out of the area. There is not an Edge Fitness in North Carolina. The closest club is over 200 miles from me. I attempted to cancel my membership but Edge charged me for 6 additional months. They made the process to cancel much more difficult and ambiguous so they could charge me for extra time. Very disappointed. I like the people in the Voorhees location but the corporate manager soured me on ever using them again."

"If you want a gym that offers classes for all fitness levels this gym is NOT for you. Over the past year they have slowly gotten rid of high intensity classes. All the they pretty much offer now is Les Mills. They have cut great classes for people that want a tough workout and added boring slow paced Les Mills classes. I've had to start going to other gyms, because out of the 3 Edge gyms in my area there are a total of 3 high intensity classes all week and we were told one of those classes is about to get cut, I'm sure to add MORE Les Mills. The high intensity classes I go to at other gyms are packed, so Edge clearly doesn't know what the fitness community wants nor do they care to offer it. A lot of dedicated members that like hardcore challenging workouts have left Edge due to all the great classes they have cut, I'll probably be next. UPDATE: To add to the horrible decisions being made as far as classes; They fired a hardworking, dedicated, excellent instructor, because she dared to have another job besides Edge. She's been teaching for years and they didn't give her nor the memembers any notice, she's just here one day gone the next. Once again Edge isn't thinking about the huge amount of PAYING members that love this instructor and take her classes. I don't know what kind of business they are running, but they aren't making decisions to keep members happy and clearly they don't respect their dedicated workers."

His prompt and effective resolution not only solved my problem but also left me impressed with his professionalism & dedication to customer satisfaction. "Recently joined after Esporta in Somerdale closing. Wanted to use facility for a while before rating. First and foremost the place is very clean. They have people cleaning the equipment constantly and it's the whole piece of equipment not just the grips or seats. The equipment is fixed quickly if there's an issue. I go in mornings and not overly crowded. Employees are very helpful. Very good range of equipment."
