"This is the beginning of a new and exciting era for this fine old place. It's history is storied and eclectic. The docent we had was well informed and engaged. The gardens are well maintained and so very peaceful. Stop by...learn some of the Cape history, see what's in store on the environmental front....see Cape May like you never imagined."
"So nice to see the dear old convent used for this wonderful purpose! The science exhibits were great, as was Natalie, who gave us a tour."
"Great historical tour. If you appreciate historical information you'd like this. Kids would not be able to handle it because it's not very interactive but adults would enjoy it."
"So glad they saved this beautiful old building. Came here as a boy with my grandmom to visit her nun friends. The guided tour was fantastic; great historical nuggets about the building and the city. It will be interesting to see what they do with the remaining space as time goes by.."
"Not for children. Dry lecturing on history of Cape May Point (which could have been interesting) 30 minutes is too long to stand (there were a few chairs but not well laid out). Poor visuals, just posters scattered around on the walls. The science section features merely posters of science studies in the area. Person conducting the tour was not knowledgeable about the science section and couldn’t answer any questions. Wouldn’t spend money on this place until they figure out their stuff better. It’s a shame it has a rich history and the gardens are beautiful, but that’s seeing interesting or interactive exhibits is not what the tour is about. Save the time and read about the area on the internet. Once again - NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER 13. Certainly not at $8 a piece."
