"We just had our roof completed by Bernie Staub Roofing. They did a fantastic job all around from the communication, estimate process, workmanship, and clean up. Their price was better than the other 5 companies that bid on our project and unlike the others, they didn't charge extra for a transferable warranty. According to owner Bernie Staub, the warranty is automatically transferable and charging extra for it is just not right. Bernie was totally involved throughout the whole process from personally answering the phone when we initially inquired, coming out to talk to us, providing the estimate, and supervising the work. He kept us apprised of a starting date as the weather was not conducive to roof work for over a month. He genuinely cares about the quality of the work as he puts his name and reputation behind it. It is personal to him. He also doesn't rush the job as he wants it done right with a thorough clean up. His personal involvement was extremely important to us. He has been in business for 34 years and we found him to be a truly honest business person and just a really, really nice guy. It was so refreshing to do business with someone like him. His wife Clare, who runs the office, was also a pleasure to work with. We wholeheartedly recommend him and would use him all over again without hesitation."

"We had the opportunity to use Staub Contractors on 2 seperate occasions and were 110% satisfied both times! Our first home was VERY old (over 100 years) and had a double layered roof. It was completely unknown what we would encounter tearing that thing off! Bernie took care of us! I was nervous but his skilled workman made quick work of ripping the roof off and reparing the necessariy plywood underneath. ABSOLUTELY no issues! Bernie was there the entire time making sure of it. Fast forward to our new home that is more than twice the size, 3 stories tall and 30 miles away. Bernie took care of us yet again. A much bigger job with more challenges that included replacing skylights for us. Again, absolutly steller. Bernie was there the ENTIRE day supervising and making certain things went smooth and eveyone was safe. He even ran to home depot for some sealant on a part of my chimney that wasnt part of the job! I cant reccomend Staub Contractors enough. There are a lot of contractors to choose from and for me I needed to know I can trust that who I pick will be dependable and stand behind what they do. That is Bernie! Would not hesitate to use him yet again (hope this is my last roof though) :)"

"If you want a leaky roof, these are your guys. After they replaced our roof 3 years ago, we had multiple leaks into the house causing 1000s of dollars in damages. Once we reported it, Bernie Staub came multiple times and his crew did something, but the roof was leaking again and again after rain in the family room and in the garage. After that Bernie Staub said, that the problem is the vent and not a roof. Vent should be replaced with the cost of $400 and the leaking problem will be resolved. We invited a certified roofing company for the inspection and they said that, the vent is perfectly fine and not the problem. Per the inspection report, Staub crew threw a cheap coating over the nails on the roof, they DIDN'T INSTALL THE NEW APPROPRIATE SIZED FLASHINGS WE PAID FOR AND LEFT PLASTERED SILICONE ALL OVER THE PLACE. The job was sloppy. I have pictures of the unprofessional poor job this company did. Called them up again, the owner Bernie Staub came to take a look and said he will send his technicians to fix flashing. We are still waiting more than 3 months later and eventually will have to go through the court system. I would say stay away from this business."
