"You must protect your animals from this location! At least, don't bring any cats here. Maybe the staff just feels differently about cats and refuses to give them the basic care you would expect at an animal hospital. I brought my two cats here that i rescued to get fixed, I opted in to a 100 dollar charge for pain medicine. My total price was 855 for getting two female cats fixed. They sent them home WITH NO CONE on their head to protect their surgery wound. One of my cats had opened the wound within just a few hours. I seen the inside of my living cat, where her uterus was. They failed to give the BASIC care of a cone and my cat almost lost her life with infections after having to take her BACK to satilla animal hospital, they repair the open wound by STAPLES with the cat having NO PAIN PREVENTION! (Anyone remember me saying I paid a lot of extra money to PREVENT excessive pain?). Overall, this place is neglectful to basic necessities and valued saving 1$ on a plastic cone rather than giving it to my cat that needed it, almost resulting in the death of my cat. If my cat didn't make it through this, your building would no longer be standing."

"My brother brought his beloved cat, Star, to Satilla Animal Hospital, and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The incompetence and negligence displayed by the staff resulted in the tragic death of his pet. Firstly, upon examination, they claimed that Star had ingested rat poison, despite the fact that we do not have any such poison in our household. As if that wasn’t shocking enough, they proceeded to feed her expired medication, which only worsened her condition. Despite our desperate pleas for proper care, the staff seemed indifferent and unprofessional. It was clear that they were more concerned with making a profit than with the well-being of the animals entrusted to their care. Tragically, Star passed away shortly after her visit to Satilla Animal Hospital, leaving our family devastated and heartbroken. We will never forgive or forget the negligence that led to her untimely death. In conclusion, I urge anyone considering Satilla Animal Hospital for their pet’s care to think twice. This establishment is a danger to animals and should be avoided at all costs."

"I called Satilla Animal Hospital even though it is a bit of a drive because we have a stray male dog in need of being neutered. Our regular vet was backed up and could not give us an appointment until July. Satilla gave us an appointment, allowed us to bring him the day before and did an excellent service. Dr. Wheeler and his staff were exceptional. The dog had other issues in which they took the time to go over when we picked the dog up. We have a plan to bring this dog back to good health. I would recommend Satilla Animal Hospital to anyone in the Waycross area."

"As wonderful as always, my Zoe doesn't like leaving my sides she tries very hard to get away from her leash. I can't walk well, so it's worry on her part. The hospital comes to the side emergency door for me, gets her from the vehicle, and brings her back. I very much appreciate that. They're worth the happiness Zoe shows when she comes to her vehicle toy...with of course stew bones waiting to chew up. Thanks all."
