"We used C & A in 2021 to file our taxes. In March of 2023, we found out only because my husband asked them about not hearing anything from the IRS for long about our taxes again. When he called the office they initially could not even find where they completed our taxes. My husband had to go to there office where initially once again they could not find our tax return. C & A eventually found our tax returns, and when asked if they were sure they filed them. We were told yes, but given the paperwork to send in the taxes again. It was not until the IRS contacted us with a penalty letter that we found out that C & A Tax service did not file our taxes. After my husband called the office and finally got someone on the phone, they said that they could not file taxes that were late. They never told us they did not file our tax return. We have called C & A numerous times to help us deal with this matter and no one will return our phone calls or has taken responsibility for their mistake. It is extremely disheartening when you trust someone to do something so important as filing your taxes, and when there is a problem they refused to answer the phone or return your phone calls. Just be fully aware that if you use C & A and you have a problem with your taxes even if its their mistake more than likely they will not answer the phone or return your calls. If I could have given them zero stars, I would have."
