"The nurse skipped me on multiple occasions. I’m very patient person, my headache that I’m experiencing is an 9/10. I know for a fact you could’ve taken me based off what the others you took before told me. And I was here before all of them. Absolutely shot service"
"They lose all your things when asked to change into a gown... Only pay a quarter of what its worth. Shame on you, and proved that one of the staff stole it!!!!"
"It may be better for you to just die than go to Lourdes, wait for 48 hours in a cold and dirty hallway with no privacy, be charged tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills, then just die anyway. There is simultaneously a serious staff shortage, an extremely incompetent staff, and serious funding issues in general. The staff are NOT identifiable, nor competent. We were told we were discharged and identified as an entirely different patient. When I told the RN (an RN for gods sake!) my daughter was NOT 'Mary' the RN asked, "where is Mary?" As if we were supposed to know!?! She then randomly took my 15 year old daughter's blood pressure with an infant sized cuff that clearly did not fit. I commented with laughter and saying out loud to her how it was obviously much too small. She agreed but just seemed confused and continued. Then she hurt my daughter by shoving the oral thermometer in her mouth to where it hurt her. There were no updates to our situation and even now we are 10 hours into being in the ER with the little to no information we receive being completely different. It is a testimony to the deficit of taking mental illness seriously in America that this is the ONLY ER in the large area that accepts psychiatric patients and since the adults are typically violent, they stick the adolescents in the HALLWAY where there is ABSOLUTELY NO PRIVACY. Suicidal kids are asked to basically be on display with no protection to their privacy or to shelter them from the trauma they can experience watching many violent patients screaming and cursing. This entire system is so upside down I don't know where to begin. But DO NOT come to Lourdes no matter what. As a former EMT I have heard these stories for more than a decade about this hospital and when you're dealing with life and death, this is no place to gamble"
