"I had an appointment to get new glasses at the Chalford lane office. The folks there were friendly and made me feel comfortable. The gentleman that showed me new glasses was very nice also. The glasses I got were,to me, very expensive. I tried wearing them for about a week but had problems with blurriness and a feeling of uneasiness. I went back and told them these glasses aren't working. I was told that they used different lenses than my old glasses but they could put the same type lenses in the new glasses and that should take care of my problem. The only catch, it was going to cost me another $50. At this point I had no choice, either pay the extra $50 or be stuck with a $500 pair of glasses that didn't work. My feeling was if they were going to put in a different type lens, I should have been informed there may be a problem or at least stand behind your work and fix the problem with no additional charge to the customer who already paid for a job that was not done right. Just sad."
