"**edit** changing to 1 star bc on a hunch, logged on to labcorp to check and see if they used them. They did, was able to actually see my recent blood test. I was told that “everything came back normal” yet I’m looking at 4 different FLAGGED high results. Beyond dangerous and scary. Also, still never spoke to the doctor after requesting it to go over my ekg. I was seeing Barbara before she left and LOVED her. Had my first annual/physical appointment with Dr. Kimmel 1/11/24. He was nice enough, however, spoke almost entirely about himself during my visit wo asking me almost anything about me/my health (he spoke about all of his other jobs and commitments, the responsibilities he has at said other jobs/commitments). Was not a patient-centered/first practitioner in the least. I have to be honest, I didn’t really care at the time because it I was only interested in my blood work/ekg results. Both are done in the office, which is super convenient. Was told I’d get a call with my results when they came in. After 14 days of not hearing anything, called office 1/25/24 to ask for my results. The girl who answered the phone said my blood results were normal, I then had to ask her about my ekg results. She said she had to follow up with the doctor to see what he wrote, bc it said normal and “echo,” and told me she’d call me back. So I’m waiting for an hour and a half, only to call back at 2:05pm and they were closed. I received a call the following morning saying that my ekg was “abnormal” and that he was ordering an echocardiogram. I asked if she was the girl that said she was going to call me back the day before and she said she was. Let her know that it was inconsiderate and unprofessional to not follow back up with me when she said she would (as I was extremely nervous after hearing my ekg may have been abnormal), to which she was defiant, rude, and unconcerned, no apology, letting me know I could come in and pick up my referral. I asked if there was an office manager or doctor I could speak with and was told no. Just a bad way to be told something like that, worse that I had to be the one to contact them, showing the lack of concern regarding my follow up. Completely turned off by the entire experience. I’ve had multiple appointments cancelled on me and have to be rescheduled. It’s a shame, bc it’s a great location and the fact they do everything within the practice is so convenient. If you can’t give your focus to the patients you are currently seeing, maybe you need to reevaluate your priorities/practice/staff."

"Dr Kimmel has been my mom’s doctor since her move to Oakwood Residence assisted living facility in 2016. He takes quite a bit of time with my mom and me. He is very attentive and kind."

"Had my first visit today with Dr. Kimmel as my new PCP. I'm surprised to read soo many negative reviews. He was very nice and took the time to listen to everything I was there for and what my goals & needs are. The staff wasn't the friendliest but they also had a NP call out at the last minute so had to suddenly cancel appts. I did hear Dr. Kimmel offer to stay late to take any patients that wanted to see the NP who called out today vs rescheduling for a future appt. which I personally thought was very professional & caring of him to offer to do. The way people say he's so selfish I wouldn't expect a selfish man to offer such services. Instead I'd expect to hear him say to continue canceling & rescheduling the appts. He didn't do that because he cares about the patients. I'm very happy with how my first appointment went and how he explained everything to me and we discussed what to do next. Just hoping I don't have to wait 2 months for my next appointment as I did for this appointment being a new patient. Thank you for welcoming me to the office. I'm going to give myself a few more appts then consider switching my daughter to his office as well. It would definitely be much more convenient but let's make sure things remain as good as they were this morning first."

"I have been coming to Dr. Kimmel's office since I was 12 and I am now 41. Kimmel is great. He really cares about his patients. Because he will be retiring soon he's only there one day a week and I know ppl who will wait as long as they have to just to see him. My mother is one of those ppl. She loves him. As much as I love him, I don't have the patience to wait to see him, so I see the other doctor named Barbara. I really like her a whole lot as well. I also love the girl who sits up front. Her name is Jessica. She has been there for years and a absolute sweetheart."
