"Be careful when you come to visit this doctor, there is a reason she is always available when others are fully booked, she charged much higher for a simple doctor visit and the final price she charged is actually much higher than the price she provided when we made the appointment, until you don't care about how much you would be charged, don't come to see this doctor."

"Very dishonest doctor, they would tell you one price to lure you to come, and later you will be charged for a much higher price as they could claim it was due to insurance even though we have told them that we are in a high deductible plan, they never told you that that price is not a final price."

"I've been seeing Dr. Chen since 2009, she is so friendly and patient, she takes her time and actually listens to what you have to say and never have I ever felt rushed or not cared about. Dr. Chen is very experienced and I truly trust her. The stuff members there are all very friendly and sweet too, whenever I have requests or needs they always try to accommodate the best they can."

"I originally came to Dr. Chen’s office because I needed a prescription refilled. She was closest locally. On my first visit, they told me since I had not spent any money towards my deductible, they would charge me $100 and then later reimburse me. I have never heard of this practice. During my visit the doctor asked me if I smoke, which I do, and told me I should consider quitting. I agreed but said I wasn’t considering it at this time. When I got my bill it included a charge for a “smoking cessation consultation”. I also had to call repeatedly to get reimbursed the original $100. I lost my job during the pandemic, and therefore, lost my insurance. The doctor refused to refill my prescription without a visit, even after I explained my situation, and would not see me until I paid the $100 office visit for not having insurance. We had a 26 second virtual visit. When I explained to the staff that I did not have a job or insurance and just needed a prescription refilled, she said “well I cannot pay it for you”. When I did get back on insurance, it wasn’t one this doctor accepted. But now, since I did have insurance (but not one she took) the visit would be $110. This doctor could not care less about the patients, or more about making a dollar. I wouldn’t come back to this office if I were on fire and they were handing out free bottles of water."

My wife insisted that I try Dr. Chen's practice out because she's been very happy with her. This was 10 years ago, and I have also become a very gratified patient of Dr. Xiaomei Chen. Her staff members are all very courteous and professional, I do not understand why there is someone here thinking otherwise. With Dr. Chen, you would never feel being rushed. She's a respectful, as well as genuine caring and personable physician.
