In light of the alarming rise in overdose deaths, with over 100,000 lives lost in the U.S. last year, we emphasize the critical need for prevention, treatment, and recovery support services.

On International Overdose Awareness Day, August 31st, we honor those lost to overdoses and renew our commitment to ending these preventable tragedies. By expanding access to mental health and addiction services and addressing stigma and discrimination, we aim to provide hope and support to those in need. NJAMHAA member agencies lead the way in offering integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health challenges.
