"Update 1/11/2021: Today I explored this area and walked thru the lakeside trail. The trail was only half a mile long, ending by Pemberton Bypass (as marked on the Google Map screenshot). And the trail was full of horse droppings. Not a area for hiking! But it would be nice to birdwatch, fishing and kayaking at this area. 01/09/2021 I saw this lake when I drove from Magnolia Rd to Brendan T. Byrne State Forest. So I decided to stop by and check it out on my way back. I found quite a big parking place right by the lake on Colemans Bridge Rd. From there I walked along the lake a little bit but the trail was full of puddles all along, not really easy to walk thru. So I just walked a couple hundred yards and turned back. By another corner of the Lake on Magnolia Rd, there’s a sign of Pemberton Lake Wildlife Management Area with a small parking lot that’s almost unusable! But I saw there’s a boardwalk. Need to go back to check it out some time later. Nevertheless, the lake is beautiful with abundant wildlife. Lots of wild geese sunbathing on the lake."
