""On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand." This church truly endeavors to be built and stand firmly upon the Rock that is Christ, the Son of the living God. Having recently been delivered from a hyper-charismatic/WoF/NAR church, where emphasis is placed on spiritual experience, individual performance, outward expression, and cult of personality, it has been truly wonderful to return (or rather, be returned) to my first love and, once again, find freedom & rest in the grace of my Savior and King. Through a high emphasis of biblical/expository preaching, sound & time-tested doctrine, ordinary means of grace, and simplistic/reverent/orderly worship…the leadership’s vision for this church is simple…proclaim Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. The result…as Jesus (the Rock) stated, "And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." The pastor & elders here truly have shepherds’ hearts; that is to tend to & serve the Lord’s sheep who are drawn into the fold, feeding them the Word of God and protecting them from wolves (false teachers). There is no perfect church since each church is made up of imperfect people…but, if a local church’s heart is truly set on putting Christ and His Word first then the "gates of hell shall not prevail against it." So…if you, like I was, are weary from carrying heavy burdens...come...receive God's grace...and rest in the finished work of the Cross."

"My family and I attended the Rock for a little under a year, after a very unfortunate fallout with our former church home of 3+ years. We ultimately decided it would be best for us as a family to transfer out of the Rock and into a local PCA church that was more aligned with our personal convictions & values regarding worship and life, but we are thankful to the Rock for welcoming us during our season of transition."
