"Our ferret came into emergency due to eating a foreign object. From start to finish the team at the hospital was amazing!! They started care as soon as we arrived, took their time, listened to all of our questions and concerned and gave our boy the best care!! We truly appreciate everyone there!"
"You never want to hear the dreaded words “your dog has cancer”!! Our golden retriever, Sydney, was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in the summer of 2022; she was 8 yo at the time. Her diagnosis was determined from routine cbc blood test from her primary vet. We were lucky enough to make a fairly quick appointment with Mount Laurel Animal Hospital. My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the oncology team at MLAH! They take the time to educate and share options on treatments. Dr. Krick who is the Medical Director of the hospital and Oncologist is extremely knowledgeable, caring, empathetic and truly takes the time to listen and explain. We have also had the pleasure of working with Katelyn M one of the oncology technicians. She treats Sydney with such love, as if she was her own. Katelyn has a wonderful disposition, she is very thoughtful and thorough in assisting her patients and patent parents navigate through a difficult journey cancer care. We continue to monitor our dog’s progress with re-check appointments. Caity U gets back in a timely fashion to get us scheduled timely. She is sweet and very caring! Fast forward, a year and half later we still are blessed with our Sydney. We understand our time is limited, so every day is a blessing!"
"First of all they have saved my dogs life more than once. 4 years ago a breeder took Putt Putt to get euthanized when he was first born due to birth defects. He was missing a front leg and the other front leg was disfigured. He is a white retriever, not small. One of the vet techs rescued him and took him in to foster. We then adopted him when he was a few months old. A couple months later it turned out that his disfigured arm was more messed up than anticipated so he needed to get it amputated. They did an amazing job and helped him live the best possible life he could. Then fast forward 4 years to the beginning of this week we had a very scary experience. He was burning up, peeing everywhere(never ever pees in the house) and not eating his food. We rushed him to mount Laurel and they spent all day running tests and getting his fever down. Turns out he would need open chest surgery on his lungs. (Spontaneous pneumothorax) Did the surgery and saved my best friends life. I couldn’t be more appreciative and grateful. Would 10/10 recommend this team of dr. to everyone. They have never given up on Putt Putts life and have treated him with as much love as I do."
"We had to take our cat to the animal hospital after a few days of attempted home care. We arrived late on Sunday night and they took him back immediately. From start to finish, the staff were caring, empathetic and had great bedside manner. They took wonderful care of him for the 2 nights he had to stay at the hospital and came home in such a better condition then when we left him. We're incredibly thankful to all of the staff from start to finish who helped care for him. The overnight stay is pricey however they were transparent about the cost up front and only did anything that was necessary to diagnose and treat our buddy. I hope nobody has to make a difficult decision to come here but if you do, this animal hospital will take great care of your pet."
"We have been going to Mount Laurel Animal Hospital since our first puppy in 1999. Since then, they have taken care of our five dogs (2 currently). Through the puppy stage to end of life, Mount Laurel Animal Hospital has been amazing and given great care and love to all our pets. They have so many resources and reached out to other animal hospitals to find a unique treatment for one of our special pets. With all the ups and downs of being a pet owner, Mount Laurel Animal Hospital has always done their absolute best for our fur children."
