"I drove through this bridge many times during the 22 years I lived in Cherry Hill. I still drive through it when I return from North Carolina to visit. It is a nice bridge, but not an authentic covered bridge (was built to look good in the development). Thus, I cannot give it a full five-star rating."

"Another nice covered bridge, though it gets four stars instead of five because I don't like when they pave over the original bridge deck. Or maybe they moved just the top of the bridge to this spot. Not sure. Need to read the history on it. In any case, it fun to see on the way to the Barclay Family Farm. Both are nestled inside a large, suburban development and would be easy to miss if not for a Google Maps pin."

"Built in 1959 and spanning the North Branch of the Cooper River, Scarborough Bridge is one of two covered bridges still extant in New Jersey (the other being Green Sergeant Covered Bridge in Stockton). The bridge is located in a quiet neighborhood of Cherry Hill, is very accessible for photos and the neighboring Scarborough Park makes for a good place to take in the sights and sounds of nature."

"Yes, the covered bridge remains standing but I would expect that of a relatively young bridge. Comparing its character, charm and engineering ingenuity to the covered bridges i toured in NH, I place the Scarborough Bridge at the bottom of the pack! Given NJ has but two authentic CBs, it’s worth a drive only if you’re in the area."
