"Went for emergency housing. Was left sleeping on streets. They help who they feel like. Had paperwork from mental health inpatient diagnosed with major issues and still turned away. They recommended crisis if my mental health was that bad. Well jeeze who wouldn't be upset if the only resource for homelessness turns them away while drug users get hotel rooms for lying."

"The staff are SO RUDE. I had an issue with a staff member who wasn't even involved in my situation and whoever I spoke to when I called TRANSFERRED ME TO HER so we could argue. She refused to transfer me to someone who would help me. "ABSOLUTELY NOT! ABSOLUTELY NOT!" she said. Are you people kidding me? You cut off all my benefits and claim you sent me a letter and you didn't! Then you set me up to have it out with someone on the phone?? This person doesn't have to sign her name on emails or use it when she answers the phone so she can just be rude and hav no accountability. This is absolutely unacceptable. Nasty people who don't care. I now have no money, no food, and this woman who yelled at me to the point I was crying. I have a disability and this is the worst I've ever been treated. Roll back your phone recordings and listen to the harassment. NONE of this should have EVER happened!"

"–UPDATED 3/15/24– ⭐️- The NEW Social Services Building is finally the state-of-the-art facility that the County of Camden has needed for a long time!! ⭐️- Signing in at the kiosk with my cellphone number gave me the option to wait in my car right until it was my time to be seen. ⭐️- Even though the place was packed, my estimated wait time was 32 minutes. I was in, they took care of everything i needed, and was back outside in 27 minutes! ⭐️- A TOTAL DIFFERENCE in the staff was immediately noticeable. They were all real friendly, they answered all of my questions, and took care of everything professionally. - GONE was the bad attitude prevalent in the old building staff. ⭐️- This is how Social Services in the 21st century should be done. Congratulations to everyone involved in making the Camden County Social Services a place to be proud of. ( Its too bad the customers are still the same ungrateful, moody, unappreciative people) ⚠️-Don't forget about the Satellite Office-⚠️ Located at 525 Market St. In Camden for the simple stuff you may need to do. Check online for the list of items you can accomplish there."

"The service was excellent, definitely 100% faster, better all around since they moved to this location, the facilities are super clean, bathrooms brand new, and the waiting system easy to use. First time there the waiting system gave me an estimate of 50 mins wait, but I probably only waited like 20-25 for my name to be called. Second time estimate was 16 mins, but I was called in like 5mins. Great experience don’t let the bad reviews discourage you from visiting this office."
