"Wish I didn’t even have to leave a star TBH. Made me and my three year old autistic daughter really uncomfortable from the very start. My daughter has been expressing interest in God so I wanted to make sure she gets a chance to learn. She did very good at a different bible school but I know she isn’t ready to sit in at church just yet, so I wanted to try another one. She isn’t potty trained so I called and asked if that was a problem. They told me they could not change her. No problem. I changed her before we went and before dinner. I asked the teacher NUMEROUS times, “are you sure?” “Are you comfortable with her staying?” She acted very weird but not about the potty training. She asked if I was staying. I told her I can not stay BUT her father is right up the street and if she needs anything he will call. She started complaining nothat her room was full. Understandable. However, my daughter was registered a week prior. Two boys came in and got registered that day and were allowed in class? So why my daughter was a problem DUE TO SPACE, was a little questionable. Anyway, my friend went as well. She was in front of me and I guess the teacher didn’t notice we were together. My friend explained her daughter is too autistic. The teacher asks if she is potty trained. My friend says yes. She then proceeds to talk about “oh good because we already have one” and I cut her off. I said “yes that’s us.” Why she needed to tell someone else our concerns was beyond me? Especially since she didn’t know we were together. She grabbed my daughters hand and asked if she wanted to go inside. My daughter automatically knew it was off. She turned and asked me to go home and to go bye byes. I went to change her to see if maybe she was a little uncomfortable and would calm down. No. Instead she got worse and really did NOT want to go. I knew in my heart that it would best for my daughter to go home. As I was walking out only ONE PERSON cared enough to ask me if I was okay and how they could make it better. Thank you Terry. You are a sweetheart. The guy in the front only cared enough about taking my baby off their list. I told him her name and told him to remove it immediately. She was not accepted there and felt it in her little heart. That is the ugliest behavior I have experienced as a special needs parent. God is not for just some people he is for ALL people. He made her perfectly. I mean, they should know that. Considering they have a bulletin board hanging on their wall of children with different abilities!"
"This church is NOT Accepting of special needs kids.. They are NOT equipped to take care of special needs kids. Last time I checked, God LOVES EVERYONE no matter what!! They have no care in the world for what happens at their church and when you bring up what is going on they say "We're gonna leave it to god". Please do not bring your family to this church!!!!!"
"They have great clothing events for those in need. Helpful nice volunteers"
"I grew up at this church. The MYF was awesome. I still miss Fran Lutner and Mrs Lyn Albright."
"Pastor Wilson is so inspiring.. His sermons renew my spirit weekly. Thank you, for your outreach in so many ways."
