Reviews of United States Postal Service
"Moved & they lost all my mail for months including auto tags which are expensive to replace. Frankford Post office called me in response to inquires regarding my lost mail said they were in charge of this office. They were supposed to look into the matter and have someone call me back. Never heard from anyone. Stopped by today to follow up but they had to close early due to short staffing. WTH"
"I'm sorry those other people had a bad experience at the bridesburg Post office. I lived around bridesburg for 29 years and never had an issue with the post office they've always treated me with respect and are so helpful. I was just there today and I had a wonderful lady, who was very kind and helpful I'm happy to say."
"They open and close when they want. Closing 2 hours early means this USPS needs help and should put a now hiring sign up, Only looking for people that really want to work and can your whole shift. Why even come in for 2 hours? Lol. Hire new employees that can and want to work please!"
"This is about usps practices. when I tried to mail a usps mailer the price was more than on the mailer. The price on the mailer is a $1.09 and that price came up on the screen and then she said because it's a cushion mailer it's considered a package. Then the price on the screen increased to $5.35. I think they considered it a package so usps gets/charges more money."
"I signed up for a PO Box here November 2020. When they finalized it, there were no keys. They told me they put in a request for keys and that they would be in within a few weeks. In the meantime, I can wait in line to pickup my mail. I'm a patient and understanding person, especially with how overwhelmed these workers are during holidays, so I waited. I was just happy to finally have a PO Box open for mail. January 2021 rolls around and I politely ask, when picking up my mail, if the keys arrived yet. I'm rudely told "Nope! It's delayed like everything else!" I mean, I get being annoyed because they deal with horrible customers daily especially this past holiday season with how slow mail has been. But I was asking kindly, and was met with rudeness. The reason I asked is because PO Boxes are pricey, and to stand in line for 45 minutes while others walk past me, with their keys, to collect their mail from their boxes after paying the same price is unfair. I know patience is important but after 2 full months I'm tired of standing in line, when I should have a key in hand to walk up like the rest of PO Box owners! Fast forward to April 2021 and still no key! They say they put in the request three times for a key, but still nothing. Sorry, but I'm closing the PO Box and going elsewhere because this whole 30 to 45 minutes just to pick up my mail is insane, especially for how much they charge. I'll be going to a different post office and I'll make certain they have a key before I sign up! Lastly, as if that wasn't enough, they often times open late. People will be waiting in line outside WELL PAST opening time. My husband once waited nearly 2 hours before an employee finally showed up to open the doors and begin working. From what my husband was told, it wasn't the employees fault. He was supposed to be off, but since someone else was a no show, he jumped in. But even so, late openings are common here so be mindful of that because it's happened more than just once."
