"Honestly i am a little bit concerned about this place went to the pantry today to get some things i had to take a danimals yogurt pack back to them the old elderly white lady told my mom in a rude voice that their isn't anything they could do about that at least have a heart and allow them to exchange it for a juice or another sweet of item of value. moreover, the lady was very rude and disrespectful trying to yell at my mom saying excuse me instead of saying excuse me in a low professional matter when i got home i checked to see what i received from the pantry cereal no milk, no eggs, no juice, no pancake mix, . Furthermore, they didn't really give us anything because of she's rude disrespectful and ill mattered and when you are supposed to be helping people at a food pantry your supposed to conduct yourself in a place of business and treat everyone equally and fairly sadly she didn't treat us that way and that's not right and inexcusable if you have a problem with helping or serving people of different background or race that's discrimination which is un acceptable all the other staff was polite and respectful it was just her that's all and what ever happened to letting the community be able to go in the pantry and decide what they want and don't want isn't that suppose to be a place of worship where one another can come and seek help or prayer instead you have people waiting outside in the cold with only 2 benches ."
"Wife and I came to see a beautiful service from early Sabbath School to regular worship service. We were made to feel very welcome and included in the dialogue of Sabbath worship would love to come back again"
"I see that most people who have rated this Church have only done so depending on how they feel about their food bank. But I wanted to point out that there is the bread of Life at this church and the Truth. People seem to only care about the Food that perishes but if we hunger and thirst after Christ we will be full and never hunger again. This Church is a huge blessing for so many more reasons than their food bank. Go there for physical food and ask them for spiritual food. Tell them you arรฉ hungry and thirsty for truth and righteousness and they will feed you from the Word of God to the satisfying of your soul."
"I come here for my food bank 1 time a week some of the food I can use most the time but honestly I question why they give certain things and then at times I do feel the do favoritism with certain people."
"For the sake of transparency I need to say that I'm not a member of the church nor am I there for services so if that is the type of information you wish to read here that isn't the purpose of this review. Though pride generally dictates just how much information one should provide about such matters I feel that what they offer and the real reason for my visits there is important enough for honesty and may help someone else experiencing a similar need. On Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 11 AM, I believe that timeframe is correct however it surely would be in your best interest to double check as these things could change, they offer a food pantry. There is a town or county of residence required so, again, please check. The wonderful people who volunteer there are some of the most understanding, non-judgmental and gentle people I have ever had the joy of meeting. If you have concerns about perhaps being made to feel as if you should be attending services or participating in the church you can set aside any of those thoughts or fears. Aside from the general "God bless" that you hear anywhere, you would not even suspect you were at a physical church. I know some people have these types of concerns, either they personally experienced something similar, someone may have advised them that such things will happen or they just think that is the way of such assistance & kindness, please put those concerns aside and accept the kindness & generosity offered. You will be able to return once a month, every thirty days, and what you receive is quite sufficient for the size of yourself and your family. I am always quite impressed by the number of organic products received, I have never had any issues with the quality of what is provided. They are very efficient and I have never had to wait. They will bring your groceries to your vehicle and load it up for you. Also, I've seen with each visit many people who use public transportation. I've never seen anyone having issues with getting their items on the bus and each time someone has been there to assist. They are also able to provide for those who may not have access to a cooking setup. You are always provided with additional assistance such as a list of places that offer, no questions asked, free meals throughout the week. It was there that I learned of a group who hold a weekly free produce pantry which is available to anyone & everyone, no identification is ever needed, it truly is open to everyone all that is recommended is you bring your own bags, be sure to bring a couple and that they are relatively strong. I have never left there with way more than was easy to carry. In closing...please, please, please, don't make things harder on yourself or your family, everyone can fall on some rough times. If you truly are in need they are there to help and it doesn't have to be every month or forever should things in your life improve or roller coaster. I once volunteered at the food pantry, it was my way of saying thank you. I had the task of checking existing stock and incoming donations for expiration dates. I was surprised by the amount of items that would be expiring in the not too distant future. If people who are in need weren't there to accept all of the donations the food would sit on the shelves and expire before being offered to someone. That food gets thrown away, those who need it don't get it and those who donated it did it for naught. So please visit this food pantry, you can always leave if you don't want to be there. They are all wonderful people who do this to help others when they need it most. No one should have to choose between paying rent or a utility bill or even picking up a prescription over food."
