"A welcoming Church that is at the intersection of so much of what's happening in S. Philly: gentrifiers, immigrants, long-time residents all call this parish home. There are often events going on, a vibrant PREP program, a wonderful pastor who really cares about every parishioner and visitor. I love this Church because I was wavering in whether I wanted to start going back to Mass or give it all up, and one woman just invited me and my son to join them one day, and they treated us like welcomed guests instead of foreign intruders (the way some old time churches can respond to new folks) -- and it just felt very much like home."
